Frequently Asked Questions

Given that the pass rates of the Ontario bar exams are not made public, we believe that it would be misleading to provide users with a pass or fail score. Rather, after completing our practice test, you are given a comparative score that shows how you performed against other exam writers. We break down your results into sections and categories, showing you which specific areas you may need improvement on.

Each of our practice exams is 160 questions long. You have 4.5 hours to complete the entire exam.

Once you click 'BEGIN', the timer will start counting down from 4.5 hours. Though it is not recommended, you are able to pause the timer at any time. You will not be able to view or answer any questions while the timer is paused. Once the timer expires, your exam will automatically submit and you will be directed to a new page.

You have one attempt per purchase.

The questions are grouped by section. On our practice Barristers exam, the sections are Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Family Law and Public Law. On our practice Solicitors exam, the sections are Business Law, Estate Planning and Real Estate. On both exams, Professional Responsibility questions will be mixed into each section.

Don't worry! The progress of your exam is saved even if you quit, log-off, or turn off your computer during the duration of the exam period. The exam and timer will pick up right where you left off.

Once an exam is purchased, you will receive an email to set up a password. Once your password is set up, you will immediately be able to access your available exams in the account dashboard section of the site.

Unfortunately, we do not retroactively apply coupon codes to purchases.
